The 2012 Chocoholic Frolic will once again take place in the Wallingford Ballroom at the Best Western Clock Tower Resort. Hundreds of chocolate lovers will arrive at 5:30pm for the social hour with the doors to the all-you-can-eat chocolate extravaganza opening at 6:30pm. The evening includes a silent auction, 50/50 cash drawing, and more!

Goodwill Diva’s Night Out Fashion Show

Time: 6p-9p

Goodwill's "Diva's Night Out" Fashion Show will occur on Friday, March 23^rd, 2012 at the Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center, 7801 East State Street - Rockford, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Special guest models will show off a large number of special occasion dresses that will be for sale the following day at the Goodwill Diva Dress Sale. Special occasion dresses include bridal, bridesmaid, prom, cocktail, classic little-black, mother of the bride, evening gown, children's dresses, and many more. Tickets to the fashion show are $25 (adults) and $10 (18yrs and younger) and available online at www.goodwillni.org/DIVA or at 615 N. Longwood Street in Rockford. Proceeds will help fund two community scholarships that allow local students the opportunity to attain an education and valuable work skills and experiences. The scholarship funds are:

The Jon Lundin Scholarship - awarded to students interested in the manufacturing industry
The DoAnn Geiger Scholarship - awarded to people with a disability who wish to continue their education.

Goodwill Diva Dress Sale

Date: Saturday, March 24

On Saturday, March 24, 2012, Goodwill will be hosting their Diva Dress Sale from 9am to 3pm at the Clock Tower. Over 2,000 special occasion dresses will be for sale from $10-$30. Special occasion dresses include bridal, bridesmaid, prom, cocktail, classic little-black, mother of the bride, evening gown, children's dresses, and many more. Shoes, handbags, and jewelry will also be for sale. The dresses have been collected from all 9 Goodwill stores throughout Northern Illinois and Beloit, WI and are being brought to one location for this one day only. Women can not only feel good about the money they've saved, they can also feel good about where the money they spend goes. Admission to the sale is free.
